Travel Info Is ra the club open @ luxor hotel? Travel Tips RA closed on July 22 of last year to make way for the Luxor's exciting new entertainment options, including the steakhouse called Aspen 702 and the nightclub called LAX. When this question came up a few days ago, I called one of the managers at the Luxor to get the real-deal answer about when LAX would be opening. She told me that while they had been HOPING to have it open by Labor Day 2007, that isn't very likely to happen; as of right now, the projected target is merely September 2007 -- no-one is giving a specific date yet, or even veering towards a specific part of the month. So I guess the answer is that RA certainly won't be open when you're in Vegas (or ever again!), but if you're going in mid-to-late September, chances are that LAX might be. Other Travel Tips RA at Luxor is open - usually thurs-sat are the best days to check it out - but truth be told, unless you already know you love it there, RAIN at Palms or PURE at Caesar's Palace is a much better club with much nicer decor, and better music (if you like hip hop and high energy). But it is open, and it still is a decent club. If you stay at the Luxor they give you line passes which let you bypass the line. If you're a hot girl or with a hot girl they usually let you in for free. Have fun and hope this helps. RA is not open at Luxor, it has been closed for remodeling to open their new club LAX, that should be opened sometime in Aug or Sept. Just called Luxor. |
