No, there is no war here.
There is a struggle between mainstream government and anti-west/anti-israel forces
also two rockets were fired from lebanon into israel today
that alone will not cause any retaliation from israel
well we were stupid enough to let it happen last summer but not this summer...no way
There is no war but the situation is not very good:
1- assassinations and bombings are happening every few days
2- there is a attack on the Lebanese army by a terrorist group called "Fat7 el Islam" in Tripoli, North of Lebanon and more precisely in a Palestinian refugee camp El BAred.
3- there is a cold war and tension between the government and the opposition which is affecting the economical situation
4- there is the up-coming presidential election in September which will lead to some problems

Yes there is a war right now.

A war between those who want life and those who prefer death. It is a war between civilized people and backwards people. This war is between terror and security. A war between young men who fight for the freedom of a nation and young men who fight for the sake of god. The only way to stop this war is to crush islamic terrorism in lebanon, oust the hezbollah led factions, ban syro-iranian influence, and return the cedars of lebanon greener than they ever were. Time will tell.
