Is This Fair??

I work in Doha, as maybe all of you know, and im Lebanese, But i was thinking of something ,

1- My Project manager is a Pakistani with a canadian passport and he earns monthly of 10 000 usd
2- The construction Manager (lower than the Project manager) is a lebanese earning 15 000 usd
3- I am a lebanese working as an assitant to the Project manager and lets say i earn 3000 usd, and a European or American works the same position as mine and earns 5000 usd.

So now as im working in the GULF region were its mainly arabs, should the gulf really be giving low salaries to arabs and higher to non arabs, and should they give low salaries to asians or indians and higher to arabs??

Now is this fair??

No , it isn't fair but I have to say that this sort of inequality isn't peculiar to your situation ! It happens here as well !

For all sorts of reasons some reasonable , some not , people doing exactly the same job in the same company can be on different pay rates....if I were you I would pick my moment & have a word to your manager !

Life isnt fair! Now, if you were int he U.S you could sue the company for discrimination, but I doubt that would work over there!
Not really, but capitalism is a biitch. Maybe you should work in a region not so biased? What about Europe or Russia?
You can not agree with it... Nobody says, that our life have to be FAIR!!!!
In the whole world some people earn higher, others lower... You should value yourself and don't worry, if you have not any fluence for it...

I know, that it hurts, but... :(:(:( you always can by hook or by crook go to your aim, because everyone has his price...

I don't think that salaries should be based on nationality.
It should be based on position.
people doing the same job should get paid the same amount.
it is totally unfair,
