Travel Info Many people supported Hezbollah in last summer's war. Do you think they will still support them if they do it again this summer? Travel Tips The Lebanese are very emotional people. And Hasan Nasrallah plays on this point. When we turn the TV to see images of children with their bodies ripped apart, our first reaction is "Death to Israel". We all suddenly become Hizbullah. But people ignore that Hizbullah has no military base. They are a filthy militia careless of lives. Its members hide among humans, so the targeting of humans by Israel becomes inevitable. The next day, when the TV shows images of dead children, Nasralah tells the Lebanese how cruel Israel is. People get all furious and Hizbullah gets the support. I'm not defending Israel here. Israel has commited one of the worst crimes in history. But one cannot deny that it's Hizbullah who started the war last summer, and they should be held responsible for all its consequences. Hizbullah gave a 'casus beli' for Israel to hit Lebanon. So what, he won the war? He sent a strong message to Israel? Fine, but at what cost? I wonder, will he forsake the lives of another 1000 persons this summer as well, to deliver another message? Fact is, Iran, whom Nasrallah keeps thanking, cares s#it about Lebanon and its citizens, and the last conflict was nothing but a proxy war against the United States. Congrats Iran, Hard Luck Lebanon. COUZ...if you want to keep your friends: 1- don't talk politics 2- don't lend anyone money el nassi7a bi jamal :>) i dont know, it depends on ALOTT of things. but i did support them last summer. i probably wont if it happens again, although they did teach stupid "israel" a lesson, the israelis ended up destroying beautiful lebanon in the process and forced the people to evacuate. 100% no way , last time they used the accuse that they were defending lebanon. This time the people wont tolerate this. Look at all of the anti syrian politicians that were killed. Not one hair on the head of any pro syrian politican has been harmed. Its obvious that souria wants chaos in lebanon, and the fact that hezbolla isnt speaking out against syria is starting to tick alot of lebanese off. Its funny that hezbolla originally were fighting alongside the sla against the plo and no they have turned into a pro iran and pro syrian militia. If they are truely lebanese they will come back into the government ancd hand over their weapons. The central government will instantly become stronger and outside forces cannot mess with us anymore. i'll pass this question. N |
