Travel Info At what age should children be taught to be independent? Travel Tips Basically, you can start at anytime. One good way to start teaching your children become independent is to let them sleep in their own beds, in their own room. I read a research article about this, that babies who do not sleep with their parents growth up to be more independent. Also, as your children grow, never try to help them with everything, you must let them handle things for themselves. So, they learn to become less dependent on others. Others as soon as they can learn In my opinion it sould be a very gradual process starting with little steps when they are below the age of ten but increasing as they develop through senior school. The danger is that they are encouraged through the media , especially T.V. , to make decisions that their experience & knowledge doesn't qualify them to make. That's where it is important that parents take their role seriously & accept responsibility to guide & mentor their children to making wise choices. hey beautiful it varys for many children, usualy ependingon theri personality...... they can learn to be independant when they are very young.... and also when they are older ...... this also differs with the parents..... if a child is not getting alot donefor him/her then they are gana learn to be independant... otherwise you can teach the child at watever age you think best suits them by knowing what they are capable of !! at 3 It depends on your childrens and the eduaction that you gave,some can be on 16 some never can be even if they are 30+ |
