Hi! How do I find a family where living in Leeds (city centre) ? |
Travel Info Next year I will study in university but i'd reather living with english family for improve my english. Travel Tips look in leeds newspapers for lodging advertisments Others You need to contact the University that you will be studying at. They should be able to put you in touch with approved host families as this request is something that they will more than likely be used to. You can also contact unipol on http://www.unipol.leeds.ac.uk who deal with student accommodation. Check their message boards as sometimes families offer rooms on there. You will most likely not be living in the city centre if you are living with a family, but in one of the suburbs - but don't worry Leeds is not a huge city and it is easy to get around. And in any case, the university is not in the city centre. The nearest areas to the university are Headingley, Hyde Park, Burley, Woodhouse, Meanwood and Weetwood so you should look for accommodation in these areas. The postal areas that surround the university are LS2, LS4 and LS6 so anything with one of these postcodes should be walking distance. Good luck! Hx |
