Is taking the Angela's Ashes walking tour in Limerick Ireland worth checking out? |
Travel Info I'm going to Ireland in November, and unfortunately don't have a lot of time, so I'm just checking around to see what would be worth checking out. Travel Tips Absolutely, if you have the time. It takes 2-3 hours, and involves a fair amount of walking, but the guide is very informative and entertaining. The day I went there were no other people signed up and he wanted to cancel the tour that day. I negotiated with him and offered him 1.5 times the regular one-person fee. I had a private tour and had an absolutely delightful time. I brought a video camera and taped most of the tour, which he didn't mind at all. Do it, and enjoy! |
