Travel Info Model nights in hairdressers in Liverpool... where and when and what do I have to do? What's the catch? Travel Tips Most hairdressers do model nights , half of them will have signs up on the windows , Herbert's training school also take in models , but in some salons you may still be charged but it wouldn't be the full price , just go into some salons or ring them and ask thay will tell you more , there isn't a catch and you wont be getting your hair hacked off by a 16 yr old , there will be a professional standing wright next to the person who is learning so you wont be getting a botch job she will go over the cut when finished and straighten it up if needed . Source(s): hairderrser of 15 yrs , done my training at herbets of liverpool . worked in andrew collinge for yrs. Other Travel Tips Be prepared to be scalped by a 16 year old trainee who has only previously cut hair on a girls world doll head Its cheap and you giving the hairdresser some practical experience. No catch, they are monitored, from how they greet you right through to the end of the session, try ringing around. They would have to do a skin test if you were to have colour. They will either be free or quite a bit cheaper. Go for a normally expensive place. Don't go to a 'cheap' place. Like ^ said. The main qualified hairdresser comes round and checks everything reguarly. And mine was actually nearly qualified anyway. There isn't really a catch. Just .... be prepared - it might go wrong?! I've been on quite a few model nights and i've only ever had one bad haircut. Edit - To your second bit - i've had my hair coloured as well... |
