I'm planning a day trip to Liverpool (Merseyside) on Sunday? Anything I shouldn't miss? |
Travel Info Pubs, restaurants, shops, culture etc. Travel Tips go visit anfield stadium........absolutely magnificent! Others no ...keep driving *LOL* Cross the Mersey river its fun and then pay a visit to the Museum that is near it (i cant remember the name) there is a massive section just dedicated to the making and the sinking of the Titanic. Well there was when I went there anyway. You could have your picture taken in front of the Cavern Club. Beatles, Albert dock & ferry trip , Anglican cathedral Have a good walk around the city centre ...good bars, many shops open Visit the Albert Dock....fantastic museums(maritime, Beatles, museum of liverpool life),a few shops and great bars and cafes and Tate gallery Walk along the Pier Head.waterfront views..catch a ferry across the Mersey If you like football visit Anfield If you like architecture visit the Anglican and Catholic Cathedral(called Paddy`s wigwam) both at different ends of same street scouser |
