Travel Info
My boyfriend and I are are thinking of moving to the UK..
How hard is it to get citizenship in the UK?

Travel Tips
Depends on your circumstances...

If you have parent who was born in the UK you are immediately elligble for citizenship.

If you have grand parent who was born in the UK you can get a 4 year heritage visa and then apply for citizenship after you have completed your 4 years living there on that visa.

If you are a member of a commonwealth nation you can get a 1 year working visa and then try to get sponsorsed by your employer to stay and then after 5 years apply for citizenship.

There are probably other types of skilled migrant visa that you can apply for but I am not aware of them. Do a google search for their Dept of Immigration website and do some more research.

Good luck.

Which country are you from?
If you have a HSMP or Dependent visa then you could get citizenship by staying here for more than 5 years.
