Do I need a visa? |
Travel Info I'm spending a week in London, I have my passport and medical records, but I don't know what else I need. Help!! God Bless!! Travel Tips America and U.K have mutual agreements that their citizens do not require visas to enter U.K and U.K citizens do not require visas to travel to America. All you need is a machine readable passport unless you are staying longer than 3 months. If you are studying in U.K then you require a visa backed by the education establishment and if you want to work you require a work permit. Others You shouldn't need a visa unless you are planning to stay more than 3 months, or attend school or work while you are there. I was in Spain for a month with only a passport and I was fine. If you have a passport you shouldnt need a visa to visit the UK if you are a US citizen. A passport should be all the ID you need, but bring your drivers liscense also. Go to the UK tourism website, it has a list of everything you need. What sort of passport do you have? You don't say where you're from. We do require visitors from some countries to get a visa. You shouldn't need to bring your medical records (in fact, if you declared them, someone might want to know WHY you've brought them). |
