How do I buy 3 day London tube tickets online?

Travel Info
I need 3 day tickets for 2 adults a 13 year old & a 10 year old!

Travel Tips
I just got back from a four day trip with my 10 year old and I was told by two different people manning the booth in the tube that it was cheaper to just by a one day travel pass for each day. I was able to buy them in advance and pay by credit card.
And yes, children under 11 really are free on the tube, we had no problems in that department.
Others
get it at a local store it's less of a hassle.
The Transport for London website has all the info you need www.tfl.gov.uk. Quoted from the 'Tickets' section (see the tab at the top of of the page), "Under 11s - accompanied children under 11 can now travel free all day, every day on the Tube and DLR" so that's the 10 year old sorted. Only Oyster Cards can be bought online, but one day travelcards can be bought easily from tube stations, national rail stations within London, DLR stations and most newsagents. Prices vary depending on what zones you will be travelling in. Hope this helps!

You can do it one of 2 ways. You can buy oyster cards pay as you go which means that you put money on them and it debits it each time you put it agains the reader. That way you only "pay as you go" and if you don't spend it all, can use it next time you visit.

Other way to do it is to buy one-day travelcards. You will need to know which zones you are visiting. If you are staying in central london and not planning on going further than zone 1 then it is cheaper. The more zones you add, the more expensive it becomes.

Children under 11 travel free with an adult travelling on the tube, bus and tram.

11's to 14's have to pay for tube but are free on all London buses.

Oyster cards and travelcards are valid on all tubes, trams and buses. Travelcards are valid on national rail but Oyster are not.
