Why does my paper season travelcard stop working in tube ticket gates? |
Travel Info I use a weekly/monthly paper all zone travel card to travel into london, but my ticket is usually rejected by the underground ticket gates within one or two days of issue, with the 'seek assistance' message, i've heard that using the gate after an oyster card can cause this, but it has happened when no one else is at the gates. What causes the valid ticket to stop being accepted? is there anything that can be done, beyond waiting for the ticket to expire and having to go through the manual gate?
