Travelling between Terminal 1 & 4 - how quick is it? |
Travel Info I have an interview near swissport buildings at Terminal 4 at 8.45 prompt but arrive on my flight at terminal 1 at 8am.Do you think i would make it in time? How do you transfer? Travel Tips Is it 15, 10, 20 or 30 minutes..... phew everyone has a different answer! Here's information straight from the Airport Guide: Heathrow: Transfer Between Terminals Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are within walking distance of each other, via underground walkways. Transfer between Terminals 1, 2 and 3, to Terminal 4, which is located on the south side of the airport, is free on the Heathrow Express train (journey time: 8 minutes). I hope this helps. Kind regards, Wendy Source(s): http://www.worldairportguide.com/airport... Other Travel Tips Yes if you get cleared quick enough, jump on the free shuttle bus and it takes 15 minutes max, or the tube is 5 - 8 minutes if thats running. GOOD LUCK!! You should make it - just. I allow 20-30 mins to transfer as they're in totally separate parts of the airport. You take the tube between the two or a shuttle bus. Your best bet is to get on the tube (piccadilly line). That will take you straight from terminal 1 - 4 in approximately 10 mins!! i dont have a single idea.... but you're terminal 1 and terminal 2. that means that you're not that far. sorry.... peace!!!! Heathrow has a shuttle bus that takes you direct. Follow the Connections signs. Only takes 15 minutes tops, sometimes there's queues for the busses that run every 10 minutes or so. You'll have no probs. |
