How are posters put on the walls of the London underground? Do they stop the tube trains?

The trains only run from about 5.30 to 12.30am so that leaves a few hours for maintenance and for people to put posters up opposite the platforms.

I'm guessing it's done at night after the last train services have finished. The majority of track and general maintenance work is done at night when the power to the lines can be switched off.
Its done at night when the trains aren't running. I think they make some sort of little bridge thing over the line with a ladder or something.
