London in 2-3 days?

What to do? How to make the most of my few days?
Where do you suggest I should stay? Somewhere close to the main sights...

Travel Tips

You like a good comfortable hotel? Take st Giles (near Oxford street) the best location for a good price.
Early breakfast(American breakfast so you will have a good choise of everything, and early important if you like to see the most of London.
First of all if you land with the plain buy a travelcard for a few days, easy and worth the price to take the tube.
Then visit: Big Ben(outside nice pictures overthere all the builings in Westminster build by Christopher Wren.
For the rest I would recommend the markets, if you like Antiques and bric-brac , at Portobello at Saturday streets full with that.
Sunday a cheap market Cd's and the normal stuff at Petticoat lane market.
Monday Covent Garden antique market, very pitoresk also nice sandwiches overthere.
At oxford street, don't forget to visit Selfridges(look also outside at the entrance a splendid old nice building) you find the other shops and buy at boots cheap cans (like cola etc...).
Knightbridge to see ofcourse Harrods(see also the statue's of Diana in the hall, also visit the Toilets overthere, you have to pay a high fee,but there so beautifull real of the Victorian Time and clean what's important.
I can go on and on of London, because I know this city very well., A good tip: always stay at the escalator on the right side
and when waiting for the bus/taxi(expensive!) stay in the row and wait your turn.Hope you have a nice time and take care of your personal belongings at all time. Source(s): I know London even better then my own town here at Antwerp.
