I stayed at the Strand Palace and it is wonderful. It's in the middle of anything and everything in London and it's really really comfortable. The location is fabulous as there is a tube station, bus stops that take you everywhere you would want to go, and it's in a safe area. I totally recommend it to anyone who is going to London. The prices were great too.

Try the Y>M>C>A or Y>W>C>A. Salvation Army. For Backpackers. St Christaphors in Greenwhich by the Station. They also have places in centrel London but i do not know where they are. Also try 118-247 good luck.
try the travel lodge or travel inn website they have special offers i don't know if the have any hotels in london though but if you book far enough in advance you can get rooms from 拢15 at certain hotels.
