Why do London Black Taxis have a yellow and orange circle on the front bumper? |
Travel Info This might sound like an odd question, but I've been wondering for ages! It looks like a yellow and orange target! Travel Tips it's a breast cancer campaign sticker. Probably had a big charity do down at the Public Carriage Office one night or something. The only thing that certifies a London cab is the white plaque on the rear of the taxi which has it's expiry date on it. The only thing that allows them to go in the bus lanes is that it's a black cab, any licensed black cab can use them. Others Is it something to do with the congestion charge or using bus lanes? Maybe To Show that they are a certified licensed taxi driver |
