From where do I hear clock chimes at Trafalgar Square, London? |
Travel Info Hi friends, I'm writing some fiction about this young couple meeting up at Trafalgar Square. For accuracy sake, I'm asking this question. I remember I did hear clock chimes there when I visited the Square in 2005. I would like to know : 1. from which building ( e.g. church, clock tower ) do these chimes come from 2. how frequent is the chiming, e.g. every hour? 3. does the chiming goes with the hour, e.g. 2pm chimes twice? Thank you ! Travel Tips |Definitely BIG ben, and yes it chimes/bong with the hour. Others It was probably Big Ben. I remember that I could see it from the steps to the British Museum. It would probably be the Westminster clock tower (otherwise known as Big Ben) it chimes every 15 minutes Big Ben!!!!!!!!! |
