Whitstable or Kingsdown-which is the better choice for this Fall?

Travel Info
MY FAMILY WILL BE TRAVELING TO ENGLAND THIS FALL TO VISIT MY DAUGHTER AT CANTERBURY CHRIST CHURCH. THE ONLY TIME WE CAN GO IS LATE OCTOBER. WE WILL RENT A SELF-CATERED COTTAGE FOR A WEEK, AND I HAVE NARROWED MY CHOICES, AFTER WEEKS OF STUDYING MY OPTIONS. WE WANT TO STAY OUT OF THE LARGER CITIES, FOR THE MOST PART, AND WE ARE RENTING A VEHICLE. WHICH OF THESE TWO TOWNS WOULD BE THE BETTER CHOICE, AND WHY? THANK YOU!

Travel Tips
I personally would choose Whitstable, as I have a house down there and know that the whole area is lovely.
There are many gorgeous houses near the sea and is a lovely way to enjoy the fall.

The surrounding areas of Whitstable, such as Seaslater and Herne Bay are about 10 mins from the centre of Whitstable itself. The cottages/houses are probably a little cheaper to rent further from the town centre.

Whitstable has lovely houses, and as you walk down the main streets, you will be surrounded by cute English shops and there is the best Fish and Chips shop on the high street.

The beach is really nice in Whitstable and surrounding areas, its clean and friendly. You may even see the local fishermen fishing for oysters and other fish.

Whitsable is so close to Canterbury, around a 15-20 minute drive along the highway. Its so easy by car. I would defiantly say Whitstable as it is very friendly and very picturesque.

Hope this helps you decide, and enjoy your stay in October!!
