I am visting London this summer in July. What sort of clothing should I pack to wear?

Travel Tips
As I'm sure you know, the weather in London is so unpredictable, its hard to dress for. However, July is the middle of our summer, so technically it will be hot!

You should bring T-shirts, tank tops. I'm sure you will be fine in trousers and jeans, but just in case it is really warm, be safe and bring some shorts and skirts.

It can rain alot in the summer, so a water proof jacket will be really useful and an umbrella. Just in case it does rain.

I am pretty sure you wont be needing lots of thick jumpers, although a light jacket for the evening is good to have.

Overall, it should be quite warm in London in July. Hopefully we will have a good summer, so you can enjoy the weather, have a great time in London, whatever the weather lol!!

London weather is very changeable but it should be fairly warm in July. Pack mostly lightweight clothes but take along a couple of sweaters or a jacket, just in case. An umbrella is never a bad idea in England - even if the sun is shining in the morning, you could find yourself in a downpour by lunchtime!

Buying clothes in London can be very expensive but the summer sales will kick in at some point very soon, so you might get lucky. Unlike in the US, the prices you see on price tags in the UK includes sales tax, so you don't need to worry about the tax percentage or doing calculations in your head.

Have a great time in London - it is a fabulous city to visit.
London weather is very unpredictable but in July it should be quite warm but there is always the chance of alot of rain.
Lucky! I'm going to London tomorrow, and I heard there is nothing but rain.

Well, since July is pretty close, it will still be raining and the highest tempature is 68 degrees. So, I'm guessing long sleeve shirts, long pants, and maybe a pair of Bermuda Shorts. It's going to be warm on Saturday, so maybe there will be days like that then.

My plane (Virgin Atlantic) will only allow you to take a max of 100ml of liquid on the plane in your normal baggage. I took a 50ml of Bumble and bumble conditioner and shampoo with me, maybe you should do that, too, because the tax in the UK is about 20% and ours is 7%.

Don't bring too much clothing, wear some things twice, and when you shop there, plan on buying outfits so you don't have to pack so much on your way to the UK.

Money. Almost my entire family on my mom's side lives in London, and they say it's really hard not to buy something. Bring lots of money to shop with, I'm bringing about $200. You should go on some store sites, and see what you like. Then, add 20% for the tax, and bring that much. But don't be dissapointed, because only about 80% of what they sell online is what they sell in stores.

I'm going tomorrow at 9 pm Pacific Time, and hopefully won't get my ears plugged!
Well, good luck!
It could be warm or a little chilly, but it shouldn't be too hot. I would bring some short sleeve shirts and shorts or capris but have jeans and long sleeves on hand just in case. Also, when I was there last June, they had some random heat wave and it was 100 degrees so you might wanna think about that.
