I am going to London in mid July, I would like to know what's the fashion & weather over there? |
Travel Info I would like to know is the weather around 12 to 21 degree celsius? Is jeans and thin trench coat a bit over-doing it? Do I need to bring along an umbrella? Travel Tips London is beautiful in July! It is probably one of the most temperate months of the year there. London has a tendency to be overcast often, and it rains or drizzles a lot there, so make sure to bring an umbrella. Jeans and a thin trench sound perfect. You might want to bring a windbreaker type of jacket as well. They are almost weightless, and make a good drizzle shield in the daytime. Other Travel Tips Well first tip I can offer you is don't look like a tourist, yanks aren't liked that much here..... I live in north London. Don't carry a map around. It does drizzle though, a light jacket and jeans will do nice. Email me with anymore questions! Be a good yank and don't do anything bad. a Londoner there is no fashion if you are a tourist.but do not look like a typical american........ The weather in London is pretty good in July, but it's always a safe bet to have a light jacket or something to protect you from the rain. An umbrella is your call -- I personally did not have one because I found it a nuisance to carry around. And just for the record, I just got back from London and found the people there to be extremely friendly...even to an American like me...so don't be too scared to carry around your map. One pair of rolling eyes is much better than being lost...London is an international city, you won't be the only one with the map. (All that said -- Don't wear a George Bush t-shirt or anything like that...you're just asking for trouble.) been there, done that |
