English people, i need travel help? |
Travel Info i am traveling to england and i need to know how much things are going to cost me in british pounds. i do not need a hotel because i will be staying with a friend in brighton. does the tube reach from london to brighton? if so how much will it cost me to go from brighton to london and back 4 times? also i am staying for ten days. if i eat a nice dinner, out of the house u know, 4 times, how much will that cost me? also if i eat a cheap lunch and breakfast out, how much will that cost me? i dont eat alot. then if i eat a regular dinner, not fancy, out of the house five times, how much will that cost? u probably hate me for asking so many questions. sry thank u so much!!!!! i already love u thanks again- blondeboy94 so i need the price for one of each one of the following, i will figure out how much total- ~fancy dinner ~tube into and out of london from brighton ~cheep lunch ~cheep breakfast ~cheep dinner Travel Tips First things first, the tube is the underground train network within London. It definitely does not run anywhere near Brighton. You will have to take an overland train and prices will depend on dates and time of travel. To get prices and times, see: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fare... A fancy dinner can cover a large price difference - anything from 拢20 per head to 拢60 or above, including wine. If you're eating in London, this is a good resource: http://www.squaremeal.co.uk/ You can choose the sort of restaurant, and the details include an average price per head. Cheap breakfasts - pastries, fry-up or just cereal, you'll be looking at under 拢5, if you find the right place. I don't know what you eat for lunch, but if you're just grabbing a sandwich and a drink, it'll be around 拢3 - 拢4. Cheap dinner - again, difficult to judge - anything from 拢5 - 拢15, depending on what you want to eat. Others ~fancy dinner 拢20 to 拢50 ~tube into and out of london from brighton 拢 not sure sorry ~cheep lunch 拢5 ~cheep breakfast 拢5 ~cheep dinner 拢5 It's hard to say exactly how much things will cost you,but if i were you stick to traditional british food, you will love it. I hope you have a great time, most of us are pretty good people so enjoy your stay. i'll be there in 6 months for the next 4 years, ask me again later. until then, check out "Let's Go Britain 2007". it's an informative source on conversion rates of dollar to pound, fine eating establishments and must see sites in the area. also, see the below listed as a possible resource site for more info on your trip and what you'd like to do/experience while you're there. http://www.statravel.com/ you cnt get a tube from brighton to london lol a train yes! I would just stay home with those requirements. |
