Advice wirth UK work agencies?

My cousin and uncle have come over to the UK from Poland to work for 3 months.
I would love any advice or things to avoid when trying to find work in the UK.

Does anyone know any good agencies that are reliable and won't take the p**s because they are foreigners?

They are looking for building work/construction industry... but any advice would be good :-)

Try LabourReady, they specialise in short term construction work. And remember there is a minimum wage law in the UK and paying less than the minimum wage is a crime. Also remember it will not be a welcoming wonderland, particularly in the larger conurbations.

they love Polish workers because they are often more hard-working than the English, about half the staff where I work is Polish now.

my advice with agencies is that you may have to ring them if you they dont ring you right away, dont be afraid of seeming like a bit of a stalker because they have hundreds and people to deal with and sometimes have to be prompted to remember you, plus it makes you seem keen.

not sure about specific agencies with regard to construction sorry.
