Overall, is it warm-ish or cold in London? |
Travel Info I was supposed to go to a leadership camp with a group sponsored by the NBMBAA. However, since it is suddenly even more of a pain to get a passport, the trip has been postponed so the whole group can sort those issues out. Being that they won't announce the new date until September, I'm a bit nervous. I suspect that the new date would land anywhere from November-April. So, I'm worried that it will be too cold. Also, I'm a weak little Miami-brat so "cold" for me is 60掳 F/16掳 C and below. Plus, I'm DYING by 40掳 F/4掳 C. Will I survive? Travel Tips I lived there for 20 years and I've known it to be minus 20c in January, but that is very rare. Last winter was very mild, but there was a couple of weeks when it was near freezing in the day (when I chose to visit of course!!) Last December was mild too!! To sum up, the UK weather has always been 'changeable', so pack everything from shorts to warm coats!! Trouble then is that you burn up when you go into shops or on the Underground- cant win. Rich Others From November to April can be considered as Winter in London so you can expect to be very cold. Bring along winter clothes or else you will be freeze to death You will no doubt feel as if you are freezing should you go to Britan in the winter. It tends to be quite damp and cold. In London I would say it is about warm and cold!! I think that at sometimes it is quite cilly!!! At other times it is warm!!! BOY you better come and visit me in Chicago in January. You want to talk about being below 40? ohhhhhh I'll show you some cold like you've never seen before. I want you to come just so I can mess with you. LOL xoxoxo In LONDON I would say it is about warm and cold!! I think that at sometimes it is quite cilly!!! At other times it is warm!!! London never gets as cold as New York. It has a pretty mild climate really. Besides, you'll spend all your time in bars, clubs and restaurants - it's not like you will ever be standing outside in the cold! Never miss the opportunity to come to London - it is the worlds greatest city after all. |
