What are the best souvenirs to bring home to the US from London?

Travel Info
We are visiting London in a few weeks and for budgeting puposes we are wondering what are the best souvenirs to bring home to the US with us? We know the standard t-shirts, take photo's, post cards, and little model statues but we are looking for things we can't get in the US that we will still love years from now and will not just be dust collectors. Also not too expensive and not too big. Any suggestions???

Travel Tips
I preferred small items like pins or folded items like shirts. I would recommend against glass items for the fact that there are many opportunities for these to be broken. I was able to get disposable coasters from every pub I visited and many postcards of small towns/attractions. These were light and easy to transport. I was able to scrapbook and frame collages of these; glasses have to be brought out and look like a deliberate attempt to brag about your trip. Remembering all of those meals/drinks when I look at the wall is a souvenir I can experience every day.
Others
Get yourself one of those English Police Hats (there's a specific name but I can't remember it). Very unique by the shape and design.

Have a fun and eat Fish & Chips in the brown paper, but get a London Times to eat it in instead - if you ask the vendor will put it in their for you.
I brought home a Paddington Bear that I bought at Harrods. :)
I always get cool picture frames when I travel. Then you can put in a memorable photo you take into the frame and remember it for years.

From London, I think a nice tea pot would be cool, if you like tea ;-)
Bring home a couple of the harry potter books from the UK. They are printed different with different jackets as well. These could be collectors here in the us as we cant purchase them in that form. You could also list them on ebay to make a few bucks and sell them now.
Not dust collectors....

But English food.

We have things that you don't have.... and vice versa
Hamleys in Regent Street (the largest toy shop in the world, so they claim) have lovely affordable die cast models of London buses, taxis etc ... they're not ornaments although they do look good ... they're real toys and your kids/grandkids would thoroughly enjoy playing with them
