Cheap places to stay near Greenwich,Millenium DOme/ The o2? |
Travel Info Traveling from Glasgow for a sporting event at the o2 arena, still looking for accomodation Travel Tips The O2 in Greenwich is close to the Docklands and Isle of Dogs on the other side of the river. There is the cheap hotel Ibis in the docklands that is like 拢55 a night or something (thats like the cheapest you will get round this area). From the hotel it is two stops on the DLR to canary wharf, from Blackwall station which is next to the hotel. Once at canary wharf catch the jubilee line to North Greenwich. From here the O2 is a two minute walk. The whole journey should take around 20 mins. The O2 is amazing, went there last week for the Snow Patrol gig. Its a really modern, well arena. Other Travel Tips i'm also to be travelling from glasgow to an o2 event. small world! london does not do cheap accomodation. make a friend, or park bench it! The International Hotel ( http://www.resideo.com/85212400.hotel... ) is just 1km from the Dome/O2 but I don't think it's going to be "cheap". But, check the link out anyways, you can read more info, view pics & check rates/book online. probably on the street. lol. well there is one YMCA, so if you student then bingo. good luck. There is a Ibis Hotel and a Travelodge close to O2 arena, Ibis Hotel is at Blackwall, which is about 1-2 stops by DLR, travelodge is close to London City Airport, again by DLR it is about 3-4 stops... I live in Docklands... |
