Where would you live in London? |
Travel Info I'm looking for a place as close to central london as possible. I live alone and would have up to 拢600k to spend. What could I get and how close to the centre would I be. I hate commuting so the less the better. Would I be able to get anything <20 mins away? Thanks Travel Tips Battersea! I've lived here for years and I love the area. You get more for your money than in a lot of areas of London, mainly because we don't have a tube. However, this does not mean that we have bad transport links - Clapham Junction means that we have a very fast route into Central London. My average commute is about 20 mins. Others near st thames river, cuz i luv water limehouse....check it out come look round EC2, there are new apartments near petticoat lane. Have fun searhing Ealing, West London. It has great transport links, train to Paddington from Ealing Broadway stn takes just over 5 mins. If you drive, Central London is around 20 mins away. If you only have 拢600k to invest then you may be rather limited. Suggest you try a houseboat on the Thames. Or a caravan. Can get a bargain sometimes, depends if you are in a rush. My son just got a tiny apartment at Pepys Street, City for 拢415,000 |
