Travel Info please suggust some really cool & unique tourist Shopping places + where de londoners shop... thx + Where can i find cheap places to eat... i know london's expensive... but... any advice will help. Travel Tips I was in London on budget too....and surprising I found that Chinese food are much more affordable. I had frequented the duck/chicken rice near Bayswater tube station for dinner. As for lunch, I normally grab a sandwich or salad from Tesco. For shopping, I particularly enjoy the weekend markets....I think it's around Convent Garden. And I had heard of Petticoat Lane Market but never been there myself. Have fun! Others Londoners shop where tourists shop. For everyday clothes, go to Oxford Street which has the flagships stores of all the big high street shops. Carnaby Street has similar clothes but is more expensive. In Knightsbridge you have Harrods and Harvey Nichols which are expsensive but nice to visit. For eating try Chinatown which can be excellent (I recommend The New World, great Dim Sum, a lunch would cost around 拢10 a head, you probaby won't need a big dinner though!).
