Anyone got a b and b in Blackpool they could recommend? |
Travel Info Am looking for a B and B in Blackpool for a couple of nights. There are hundreds out there but got ripped off 2 years ago, it looked lovely on the net photos were great and when we got there it was a hole absolutely filthy, damp and smelly. It has got to be clean if nothing else anyone recommend anywhere? Travel Tips Lots and lots of BB in Blackpool .dont bother booking just go on the day and pick the one you like best.You dont have to stay there you can always refuse the room if it is damp and smelly.Remember you only get what you pay for but dont be afraid to complain if you get ripped off. Others unfortunately alot of hotels and guest houses are like this now, try the bigblue hotel, i stayed there it was about as good as you will get in blackpool nowadays. Grampian House Grantham house hotel, very nice place,lovely people. http://www.granthamhousehotel.com... We stayed at the Melville for eight days. It is right in the centre of the resort. It's not the 5 star hotel that you are looking for, but it was fairly clean, friendly and the wee polish punters who seem to do all the work, are absolute gems! I stayed in Haven park , i upgraded to gold apartment, it was brilliant, buses every 10 minutes to Blackpool centre, we even walked some days . brill |
