Ever been to Santa Ana, CA? |
Travel Info What is it like? I will be living off of 2nd st. and Broadway? Travel Tips Santa Ana is NOT a "designated sanctuary city for illegal aliens", in fact the police department actively picks up illegal aliens and works hand in hand with the immigration service. This has gotten them a lot of bad press with the groups supporting illegal immigrants, kind of the opposite of what you said. You will be living in a nice area, much of Santa Ana is very nice. Yes there are bad parts, however that is true of any city. There are million dollar homes in Santa Ana, the community is changing and going up scale. Treat Santa Ana like any other city in the world, keep you wits about you and your eyes open and you will be just fine. Others not yet maybe someday who knows. Wow! Santa Ana is a designated sanctuary city for illegal aliens, and as Orange County cities are concerned, it is the most dangerous. That is not to say there are not some fine, decent people living there, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Addendum: "Just a friend" is full of ****. Santa Ana most definately IS a sanctuary city. The Santa Ana Police Department DOES NOT co operate with the U.S. Department of Immigration. Santa ana has a lage hispanic populationand is considered lower class. I have been to the Mall of Orange that is next to Santa Ana. I do not see Santa Ana as a dangerous place. I is not like some of the tough neighborhood is south centeral. But is does have its porblesm...the kind of problems that poverty brings. I've been there once. All I know is that it's heavily Latino, not that that matters. And Peed, NO police departments cooperate with the INS. Even though they're supposed to. yes its okay |
