Travel Info As an ordinary person living in Los Angeles what difficulties do you have in this city? Travel Tips Traffic, cost of living............ oh did I mention the traffic? Others breathing First of all, I would debate whether any of us is "normal." Be that as it may, we're annoyingly optimist lot. We smile happily as we are stuck in traffic, because, we collectively think, at least it's not raining. As hills around us burn to the ground due to record drought and serial arsonists, choking the already polluted air with smoke and ash, we hum softly to ourselves and say, "The skies were too blue anyway. This is easier on the eyes." And as the valleys heat up to 125 degrees in summer, and to temps high enough in Palm Springs to re-vulcanize our tires, we gaily say to each other, "Well, this is the price we pay for not having snow." But that's just my opinion. Traffic and Traffic and did I mention Traffic. LA revolves around the CAR. And it can be quite a hassle. But... you have a lot of freedom in LA. Where else can you go surfing in the morning, snow skiing in the afternoon and to a rockin concert at night. But.... Make sure you have the $$$$ You just plain hemmorage dollars in LA. BTDT Traffic Congestion. There are times that you simply can not go anywhere. I do not have any difficulties, Los Angeles is a good city to live in, stay away from bad areas and thre is nothing to worry about. |
