Crystal cove. A new park between Laguna Beach and Corona Del Mar. You park across the street and a shuttle takes you to the beach. Very picturesque and the beach is long and, generally, empty. And... there is a good restaurant at the park!

...least people...? this time of year? not happening.......but yes, I would try Carpenteria or northern Ca., the southern beaches are already packed....it stinks.
