Is LA subway fare expensive if u wanna travel from southern to northern la?? |
Travel Info i wana go from south la to north la cuz i wanna go to six flags. i wanna know if the fare will be expensive to go by train Travel Tips yess metro rail doesnt go to six flags you first get yourself to Union station then Metrolink or what you could do you could take transit line south LA into downtown then board a 94 (i think thats the number to Symlar metrolink then transfer to SCT line 8 taking that bus to the Mc Bean transfer center and transfer again to SCT line 3 to six flags or have other have said go to Union station and then Metroliink and yes your metrolink ticket is vaild for the SCT buses Others i live in south central and took the metro to six flags one time....took the metro to Union Station, got a bus that costs like 4 dollars, then you have to get off and get a bus that takes you directly to six flags..it should be around seven dollars for everything...go to www.mta.net to plan your trip and it'll tell you how much it will be $3.00 for an all day pass on the light rail/bus system. But the light rail system is pretty limited, and it won't get you to Magic Mountain. You'll first need to get to Union Station (bus or light rail - whichever is closest to you) and then take a MetroLink train from there to Santa Clarita, and finally a Santa Clarita city bus to Magic Mountain. MetroLink roundtrip will be $13 on weekdays, and $10 on weekends, and I *think* it's a free transfer to the Santa Clarita bus.
