SONIC BOOOOOOMS.....Do you get scared??? |
Travel Info do the sonic booms scare you as much as they scare me... even though I know they are about to happen they still scare the bah-jesus out of me...how about you.. and are you ready to hear and feel them in about 10 minutes?? tell me if they scared you...I WARNED YOU Travel Tips haha yeaah that was cool cuz there was two booms it scares you more if you don't even know it's coming but if you know its goingto happen, its more startling than scary animals get scared so bad thought because they hear it louder Others no they dont scare me at all Where are you hearing sonic booms so frequently? Its generally illegal for aircraft to break the sound barrier anywhere near a decently populated area, let alone in LA - it makes people think that bombs are going off. No, they wouldnt scare me if I knew they were coming- but Ive only heard about 2 in my life (and it was a rare enoguh event to then be in the newspaper the next day- and I live near one of the largest air force bases in the country). After being married to my ex-wife, nothing scares me. Yeah they scare me. It's the natural fight or flight response we all need to survive. A good jump will get you going, whatever you need to do! i thought someone drove into my house...yes, it scared me and my dog. but when i found out what it was, i just rolled my eyes! I live in Laguna Niguel, CA. I don't know where the shuttle was at 12:44 (it landed at Edwards, very far north, at 12:49)but it felt and sounded like a truck hit my house...it was kind of thrilling, actually. When I was young in the late fifties and early sixties we experienced sonic booms often (a few times a year); I guess more military jet testing near neighborhoods in those days. |
