It's near the subway stop. Not the greatest part of town, but there are certainly worse. LOTS of traffic nearby, since a lot of people use Silverlake Blvd to commute. You're not traveling alone, are you? You should be fine if you have a buddy with you. You can take the subway to Hollywood & Highland to see the Hollywood sights, and to North Hollywood to get to Universal Studios. You could also go the opposite direction and go into downtown LA. Used to be a Ralph's on the corner of Vermont and Beverly, but I haven't been there since the great Supermarket Strike of '05, so it could be something else. There's a Rallyburger on Vermont & Beverly. There are a lot of panhandlers in the area, and they speak English plenty good. At least enough to ask for money. (Paris, the hotel is SOUTH of Los Feliz. There's nothing north of Los Feliz except some nice homes and Griffith Park). Others a few buisnesses. but its driving distance to hollywood and downtown. not too far by the looks of it. theres tons to do both places. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?for... The Comfort Inn hotel is centrally located between downtown Los Angeles and the heart of Hollywood, minutes from the Los Angeles Convention Center. This Los Angeles, CA hotel is close to area attractions like Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and Disneyland. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is also nearby.
