Restaurants and parking near the Pantages Theatre? |
Travel Info Can anyone recommend any restaurants near the Pantages Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. near Vine? Also, any advice for parking near there for a matinee show on a Saturday in July?Thanks! Travel Tips The easy part of your question is the parking. There is PLENTY of parking around the Pantages. We always use the lot that is catty-corner to the Pantages, which is on the SE corner of Argyle & Hollywood Blvd. There is also parking on Argyle, and along Hollywood Blvd. Parking prices vary by lot and time of day, but expect to pay about 10 bucks. The Old Spaghetti Factory is an EXCELLENT choice. However, the previous poster failed to mention that it is over a half mile from the Pantages, on Sunset by the 101. You could walk it, but on a Saturday in July, it's WICKED hot in Hollywood (pun intended). Your best bet is to drive to the Spaghetti Factory, which has easy parking, then go to the theater (or vice versa). Keep in mind that the Spaghetti Factory is closed from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. At the Hollywood & Highland Center, there are a number of restaurants, including Loggia (Wolfgang Puck's tapas place), California Pizza Kitchen, the Grill on Hollywood, and Koji's Sushi. You could walk it, but it's a bit far to walk on a hot day. Just park inside and get validated. House of Blues is also nearby, if you are looking for more music with your food. There is plenty of parking across the street, especially for a matinee. Have fun! Not too sure about the restaurants but you can go to www.groovetickets.com and purchase parking for Pantages. take the red line - it drops you off right across the street. if it's the matinee on july 21, i'll see you there! |
