Has anyone driven from Jersey to california? |
Travel Info If so how was it like and how long did it take? Travel Tips 4 years ago, I drove from LA to Boston during Spring. I took the I-40 across Albuquerque, NM (first stop), then went stay at Oklahoma city (2nd stop). From there I changed to I-44 to St Louis (3rd stop), and then I-70 to Columbus (4th stop). During the final stage, I took the I-71 and I went through Buffalo and then took I-90 to Boston. At each stop, I visited the main attraction of the city for a couple hours. On the way back during Fall, I tried to stay away from the northern States due to icy condition, I took from Boston the I-95 south to Richmond (1st stop), then the I-40 to Memphis (2nd stop), then Oklahoma city (3rd stop), and Albuquerque (4th stop), and straight to LA. That was the experience of a lifetime. I drove 8-10 hours a day with some pit stops of 30min to 1 hour to rejuvenate. Now, I can check the box next to "DRIVING ACROSS COUNTRY TWICE." Others Almost. I've driven from Montana to Massachusetts. It took about 5 days driving anywhere from 8-10 hours on the average day. Some days a little more or less. I highly recommend doing it at least once, if I do it again though, I will take more time to stop in between to get to see some scenic stuff. I haven't but one of my best friends did. she drove six to eight hours a day and did some sight seing along the way. It took her about a week and she loved it. When I drove from california to NJ it took me about 3-4 days. I only slept once so it just depends if you need sleep. When I came back it took a week or so sleeping every night but thats just because I went sightseeing. |
