What's the best spot in LA to observe and get a picture of us with the "Hollywood" sign in the background? |
Travel Info Directions? Thanks Travel Tips Either the Hollywood and Highland Center, or inside the Hollywood Bowl (they let you in for free if there's no concert that night). Griffith Park isn't a very good view. The sign looks like "HOLLYWOO". Besides, you have to pay for a shuttle there. Lake Hollywood (reservoir) isn't that good either. You can get somewhat close, but its a bother to the neighbors, and I wouldn't do it. Besides, the views are better back down on Hollywood & Highland. You can easily mapquest Hollywood Blvd & Highland Ave, Los Angeles CA for directions (besides, we would need to know where you are coming from). You can take the Metro Red Line there if you want, also. Have fun! Others Hollywood Sign and Los Angeles Reservoir, Hollywood Walk of Fame. you can't go up to the sign anymore but here's the best spots in my opinion to see it. were are the directions coming from? Los angeles Reservoir or Griffith Observatory. California Pizza Kitchen plaza at Hollywood and Highland. You can stand on the deck, take a pic and the sign will be in the background. |
