I am moving to the San Fernando Valley in August. Can anyone reccomend an apartment complex? |
Travel Info Has anyone had experience with Werner Pines apartments? Travel Tips Warner Center is definately a nice area to live in... I would definately check out a couple places there... Also, up and coming, is North hollywood... Look for a place in the NOHO arts district... Lots of shopping, live theater, restaurants, you'd love it!!! new lofts were recently built near the North Hollywood Red Line Station.. Another quaint area is Toluca Lake and Burbank... You'll find all of the big production studios there including, Disney, Warner Brothers and its a really safe area.... look somewhere there... no matter where you go though, make sure they have a pool... the valley gets really really hot.... you should also look into studio city and universal city, something near ventura... stay away from these cities: Panorama City, Van Nuys, Sunland, anything in north hollywood north of chandler, sherman oaks is iffy... well, welcome... hope you enjoy the val as much as i do!!! Others My friends lived in Warner Pines in Woodland Hills. That complex was very nice. Been there Hi! Nope, haven't been to werner pines, but there are actually websites on the net that have apartment reviews/ratings. Do a google or yahoo search for those key words, and the city you're interested in, and you'll probably find a good deal of information. There are nice apartment complexes in Burbank, but I'm not sure which part of the SFV you're planning on moving too. Burbank's rent is a bit steep.. anywhere from 1000-1500 for a 1 bedroom, and 2 beds are as much as 2000. Those are the bigger complexes, though. Anywho, good luck and stay safe! :o) SFV native Warner Center area is the most decent of all the areas in the valley. Whatever you do, dont rent at Americana Northridge Apartments, they'll rip you off. 10331 Zelzah is also overpriced and about to fall apart because its so old. Theres mold everywhere. |
