Disneyland Anaheim California Adventure Vs Disneyland Anaheim Downtown Disney? |
Travel Info What's the difference? Travel Tips Disneyland is Disneyland... it's the happiest place on earth, and I think we all know what it is. California Adventure is the newer theme park right next to Disneyland. It's nice, but not as cool as Disneyland... it has more of a carnival atmosphere. Soaring Over California is a great ride, though! Downtown Disney is somewhere (free!) that you can walk around and shop and eat. It's like a little shop/restaurant/club/movie theater area right next to both Disneyland and California Adventure. You can go to both parks, and walk around Downtown Disney and have a great time! Others California Adventure and Downtown Disney are in the same vicinity. Downtown Disney has shops and restaurants and you don't have to pay to get in. But California Adventure is where all the rides are and you'll need a ticket to get in. California Adventure is the little brother to Disney land. The rides focus around California themes. Disney Land mostly focuses on Disney films. California Adventures is another Disney theme park with souvenir shops, rides, food stands, characters, assorted attractions, and restaurants. Admission is allowed only through paid ticket. Downtown Disney is like an outdoor mall. There are souvenir shops as well as specialty shops, assorted entertainment (like live bands or magic shows), and great restaurants. Like entering any town in the United States, no ticket or money is required for admission. So if you were trying to decide which one to go to, you could really go to both. If you get done with Cali Adventures early, you can swing over to Downtown Disney, located right between the Disneyland and California Adventures entrances in the plaza. Adventures? California adventure has rides and mini stores,and downtown disney has just mini stores,dining,and a theater. one is a theme park and one is a strip mall. you dont have to say "anaheim" each time u say it! hahahaaaaaaaaaa sounds funny!! |
