Travel Tips alright let me tell you. i am half white half mexican and ive been to compton several times. since i have family who live there. i look white. and i have never had any sort of problems. as long as you keep to yourself and you dont do or say anything stupid you should be fine. just avoid wearing blue and red. just dont go looking for trouble. if you see someone who looks like they may cause a problem try to avoid them. but most ppl are treated the same there it doesnt matter what race you are. there are not many caucasians in compton so it will take awhile for them to accept you in their neighborhood if you move there. if you are worried about going there dont let it show. if they know you are scared then they might mess with you. but you know what there are many great families in the city. and alot of the neighbors are really close and very nice. Others Go there and find out. Caucasians in Compton, California are treated like anyone else. When I grew up in Compton, our next door neighbors (both sides) were Caucasians, and that was in the 70's. Now in the 21st century, I don't see too many living in Compton. Like anyone else, if a person visits the city and treats others with respect, there isn't a problem. There are caucasians teaching and working in Compton who are greatly respected. Lived in the city for 13 years. Worked in the city for 5 years. Like a king... Rodney King! There's Whites in Compton? Since when? |
