I need a good beach that allows barbeque and bonfires, and just so happens to be North of Malibu beach.?

I'm looking for a beach for my mom's birthday, it has to be a clean beach, nothing like Santa Monica or Venice (lol). Somewhere close to Malibu beach.

That is going to be hard. Bonfires and bbq's are banned in most parts, except for private beaches.
