Travel Info Are the rides at Universal Studios scary and do they have hills or drops? Can you give me a list of rides that are good for a 12 year that is scared of drops, hills and rollercoasters. im going for my first time since i was a baby. iv onlybeen to disneyland a thousand times and seaworld a thousand times and wild rivers. are there any similar rides? thanks! Travel Tips The only scaryish ride I can think of there is The Mummy, the rest are quite tame and as I sound just like your daughter when it comes to rides, you can trust me !! I liked Jurassic Park and you do get a bit wet on that but other then that they are great, esp the Back to Future ride, I went on that twice ! Others Most of the rides at Universal are scary like the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland, where you aren't thrilled necessarily by fast speed and big drops, but visual effects. My 6YO LOVES California Screamin', but didn't like Indiana Jones (she's scared of Goofy, too- go figure). Back to the Future is a lot like Star Tours, etc. Most of the rides at Universal are really tame & do not have drops. The only "big" ride is the splash ride, really. The rest of the time you're on a tram showing you movie sets & how movies were made, etc. Universal is boring |
