Where Is the best beach to go to in California? |
Travel Info Where Is the best beach to go to in California? Travel Tips it really depends on what you are going there for and what you like. Long beach isnt too bad at night if your just looking for a nice romantic walk, but dont expect to see any stars. if your there after midnight you arent likely to be bothered. Huntington is great if you plan on having a firepit. the ocean isnt too rocky there so its safe to surf or play in the waves. bring warm cloths though. huntingtn can get a little windy toward the evening. there is also alot of places to shop around down there. Newport is awesome, my favorite. the sand is real smooth. not many tidepools or rocks to worry about running into if you plan to play in the waves. no firepits here but the peir is nice, you can fish off of it too. if you are facing the ocean make sure you settle to the left of the peir. newport has lots of good munching places. i recommend the crap cooker for dinner and the italian gelato place for desert. sharkeez is good for lunch. if you would like to experiance tide pools i would go to a beach further south like crystal cove or san onofri. san onofri has a campground. i hope this helps! Others Newport, Huntington, Zuma newport beach!!! =] not sure but it aint long beach. try newport and go see the wedge where the waves can reach over 20 ft high Any beaches in the following: Laguna, San Clemente, Newport BEWARE OF THESE BEACHES: Santa Monica (known as one of the dirtiest beaches) Huntington My pick for best beaches...Pt Dume(parking can get expensive). Zuma, El Matador, Malibu Creek. Any of the beaches in Malibu are wonderful!! The further north you go on PCH the better they get. Beachy expecience :) |
