How can i have fun in Victorville, California? |
Travel Info Ive heard cali is the place to be *cough* could someone tell me what fun things i can do in victorville? Travel Tips I've been a California resident my whole life and love the place but gosh darn, Victorville is the pits! As others have said, the only good thing to do in Victorville is to leave it. It's desert, but not pretty desert. Usually you'd have the benefit of peace and quiet in the desert, but it's got that noisy highway that everything's built next to, so no quiet. It's got cheap ugly development plopped down adjacent to a highway that always has lots of signs "land for sale". Whenever I go thru there I always wonder about what kind of sucker would actually spend money living in an ugly cheap tract house in the middle of ugly desert miles away from anything attractive, interesting or even productive. It would be a good place to make a movie about "quiet despiration". Please do not hassle your friend; he needs sympathy and support. Most of California is wonderful but Victorville is NOT. I am assuming your friend is unable, due to age or financial circumstances, to move somewhere else right now...or likely they would have already. Really, if your friend is going to give a credible argument in favor of living in California then he needs to move somewhere else. It's a pretty big state so lots of better choices! Others It is short-lived, but the most fun thing you can do in Victorville is leave... hhahaha my friend just moved there, maybe ou should meet up. She is dying of boredom..... she hates it there. the middle of nowhere california where it's really hot. i miss her... it's so sad. I told her i would drive up to visit her and we can hang out at the local target or something. or she should just drive done to the beautiful oc... poor girl. The best thing I know to do in Victorville is to pass through it on the way to Vegas! wow...take a drive for an hr and head to OC/LA. The only time I drive through Vegas is on the way to Vegas from LA. you can have lots of fun by avoiding it I have only met one person from Victorville in my life that said that the best thing he ever did was move to Bakersfield.
