Travel Info I'm thinking of traveling to Orange County (I'm not American). Should I ? Problem is, I'll be alone. Advice? Travel Tips I live in Orange County, it is AWESOME! I grew up in L.A., and let me tell you, there is just as much to do here in the O.C. I can't see you having any problems. It is very safe almost everywhere you go here. The beaches are beautiful, there is great shopping, amusement parks, etc. Have Fun!!! Others why do you want to go there? you wont have any problems but theres nothing to do. theres just a bunch of snotty *** people and the beach. haha sorry Unless you really love the beach and amusement parks, there isn't much to do there. your gonna get mugged, stay where you are. Orange county is a very picturesque place and has a lot of fun things to do. I lived there for ten years so I know. If you're traveling alone just make sure and pay attention to the signs on the freeways and try not to travel between 7 and 9am or noon and 6pm. Also - try to stay away from the 405 - it's usually very congested during the summer months. If that is what you so wish to do, the go for it, get yourself a change of pace. you will be glad you did, theres a friendly face everywhere you go, so do worry about lonelyness, and thats a county of loving folks anyways. they talk and serve you fresh homemade food alot. you will fill at home. ornange county, yes most of the area does have orange groves running all through it. you might have found your second home. http://www.orangecounty.net/ |
