Getty or Griffith? |
Travel Info Do you think I should go to the Getty museum or the Griffith observatory for my b-day...? I think sumthin more artsy or "educational" would be kewl since i like those things... any opinions or suggestions...? i know more about the getty but i need more info on the GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY... can u stay there for the whole day...? Travel Tips well the griffith doesnt allow anyone to drive there You have to take a shuttle either from Hollywood or the LA zoo parking lots and you have to make a reservation with the obeseraty otherwise you cant get into as for the getty there is no reservation need this is for the Gettty center (on Sepuleveda) for the getty viila you can get time tickets Others Griffith,half day. Getty a half day.. Which do you like to do and what interests you? Go to Getty museum, if you haven't gone yet it is free to go just pay to park. I don't care for museum but this one is really cool, you don't even have to go to the museum to enjoy the the place the garden is beautiful. Bring food and have a picnic if you want. They have a nice restaurant up there too, make a reservation during sunset the view is breathtaking. What ever you decide enjoy, Happy Bithday!!! And yes you could stay all day in Griffith Observatory, but why? I think you'll be bored. There's not much to do plus it's indoor. you have to visit Griffith, its unique, you will learn things you never have imagined http://360.yahoo.com/lavadogmarineone... The Getty only costs 5 bucks to park. And if you pack a lunch you won't NEED to spend any money. The garden is really nice to walk through. And the Observatory requires reservations for which there may be a small fee. Parking is free. Both are dirt cheap. You can stretch out each day, poke around Malibu after the Getty, or Griffith park after the Observatory. If you feel the need for further stimulation. Tough choice. Really depends on what kind of a day you want and how many people you have with you. |
