Travel Tips Luxury public road transport on Delhi-Lucknow route is almost nil and people prefer to travel this stretch by train, air or selectively by cars/cabs for different reasons. So many comfortable trains are operating on this route, you may choose one which suits you best. Others There are currently none in operation. There ar 2 Scheduled buses from Anand Vihar ISBT to LKO, both depart at a difference of 1/2 or 1 hrs in the evening after 8 pm. These are sleeper coaches operated by private parties and volvo look alike. Good to use for overnight journey when train reservations are not available. There are more than 16 trains including Shatabdi and Rajdhani, trains will be better idea as Highway is under expansion b/w Hapur and Moradabad and travel time is more on road. You may also get a decent airfare of INR 1900 on Airlines if booked in advance. I frequently travel to LKO. No Volvo service. Lookalikes only, but not that bad. Trains are better, comfortable and available through out the day and night. |
