Travel Tips
Personally, i never had the chance to stay at the hotel..but i must say that the hotel is located in a very strategically place, whereby KLCC the twin tower is just in front of the hotel..very nearby to train station and a walk a way to the hip and happening club area..but as the hotel itself is a old aged hotel..never heard of any refurbishment of the rooms but did heard that they just launch a new category room called Cabana suite..and perhaps the room is suitable for your honeymoon...

I been there for a meeting but didnt stay. all i can say is a nice hotel, good location and walking distance to KLCC. not bad.
I don't think its u're honeymoon. Havin a good time, huh ? Better watch it !
Firstly, it's not quite as close to KLCC as people try to make out, although it is a realistic walking distance, despite the dodgy pavements and very warm weather.

I found it distinctly average when I stayed there. Not terrible, but not great. The rooms are fine, the food is... hmmm. They offered a Caesar salad with a choice of dressing when I stayed there, which is an impossiblity, especially as they didn't offer Caesar salad dressing! It's perfectly adequate, reasonably central, fine.

However, I'd rather stay at the Concorde or Traders, given the choice. The Concorde is in a great location with plenty around it, reasonably close to Heritage Row which is the best place in town for drinks, meals and a nice night out.

Traders is very close to KLCC and has a lovely Sky Bar with amazing views over the city. It's new so the rooms are in great condition, and the service is good.

Alternatively, the Grand Hotel Maya is fab - lovely boutique hotel in a fairly central location, although it can be a bit more pricey, but it's a bit more special.
Hi Haris,

If memory serves me right, Corus is formerly known as Ming Court Hotel. It is not the best hotel you can find but it is allright. Nothing fantastic nothing really bad.

Somehow for a honeymoon hotel I don't feel it has the right ambiance. Anyway to each, his own poison.

If you want a memorable honeymoon, do try something that is a little beyond ordinary so that you have something to remind you of "what an awsome time you had!!". Artsy fartsy decor in quite a unique location smack in centre of golden triangle with nice eating outlets I would point to ALLson Genesis, Give you a chance and excuse to explore or Stay in bed.

Cyberview Lodge, really different style of resort that makes you want to stay there and not go anywhere.
Huge rooms with jacuzzi and the works.

If you made up your mind with corus, so be it, but get a ticket to the philharmonic :) . You may not like it, but hey it really makes you feel cultured.. Hehehe
